We are extremely selective with our suppliers and require that they demonstrate Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) resp. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) confimed by third party Food Safety Audits. These audits verify that the herbs and botanicals we source are produced, packed, handled in the safest possible way.

We test all our ingredients to validate that each one meets our high standard for colour, aroma and taste. Besides sensory evaluations, analyses of microbiology, pesticides and contaminants are part of our approval procedure. The quality assurance testing ensures the use of quality ingredients in all Yogi and CHOICE teas, cup after cup.

Our tea bag paper is made from a blend of high-quality manila hemp (abaca) or bamboo fibers and wood pulp, which is free from plastics and compostable according to EN 13432. It's oxygen bleached, a natural process that’s free of chemicals. Along with all other components of our packaging, this paper is free of gluten, GMOs, and corn, and does not contain any of the eight FDA-recognized allergens (tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat, or soybeans).
